Wyndham’s summer party was simply spectacular! This year, our summer party was held at The Royal International Air Tattoo air show and the whole team was in attendance! It was a fantastic opportunity for the team to get together and for some members of the team to meet for the first time!
The air show was a perfect choice of venue for Wyndham’s summer party with something to appeal to every audience. We came together to watch the fantastic air show with everyone participating in activities as a team! Before finishing for the day, we enjoyed a delicious meal and a glass of champagne! The day was an opportunity for the team to celebrate Wyndham’s incredible achievements and as a thank you to every individual that ensures the company’s continued, and growing, success.
The senior management team was in attendance, with Robert Wyndham-Lewis, Chairman of Wyndham Resources, designing the day himself (with just a little bit of help). Rob realises the benefits of having a regular staff social, and introduced the annual summer party in 2022, when the annual Christmas celebrations just seemed too far away! Now it’s a recurring event in the calendar. Rob explains why:
“People are at the core of our business. That’s why we take every opportunity to celebrate the people at Wyndham; the summer party is an opportunity to give back and say thank you. I strongly believe that group celebrations such as the summer and Christmas party improve performance, strengthen relationships and most importantly, improve employee morale by encouraging a positive work life balance.
